2012 PR for Good Client – Family Promise of Grand Rapids – Named Finalist in 100 Cars for Good Program

WMPRSA Needs Your Support on Saturday, July 28

The WMPRSA Board of Directors continues to support local nonprofits in the “PR for Good” campaign. This year’s nonprofit receiving PR support from WMPRSA is Family Promise of Grand Rapids.

Family Promise of Grand Rapids has been selected as a finalist in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program, a major philanthropic initiative in which the automaker is giving away 100 vehicles over 100 days.

Public support via voting through Facebook is needed for Family Promise to win one of the 100 vehicles, which would be used to help families in transition from homelessness to more sustainable living situations.

WMPRSA needs your help!

Voting Day for Family Promise of Grand Rapids is Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Visit http://bit.ly/VOTEFPGR now to register for a reminder to vote on July 28.

It would be great if you could take a few minutes to vote on Saturday, July 28, and also share the link (http://bit.ly/VOTEFPGR) through your own social media connections both before and on Saturday, July 28.

Similar efforts last year helped Grand Rapids-based Kid’s Food Basket win a vehicle in the same contest.
