PRoof PRemier Award

PRoof Awards in all categories are automatically considered for the PRoof PRemier Award (formerly the Best in Show) representing the finest example of public relations programming.  The judges at our reciprocal chapter award the PRoof PRemier to the entry or entries with the highest score.  This year, two entries earned perfect scores:

Lambert Edwards & Associates SNAK Attack!

In 2013, Inventure Foods (SNAK) presented Lambert, Edwards & Associates (LE&A) with an investor relations and public relations challenge of leading corporate communications and IR efforts through two major acquisitions while also supporting 10 new product introductions across five brands. LE&A launched an integrated “SNAK Attack” approach to proactively stimulate investment community awareness of SNAK’s financial performance, acquisitions, and new products. The tastefully executed program resulted in 94+ million media impressions, 118 meetings with the investment community, analyst coverage initiation, and new institutional shareholders. SNAK reported record-breaking growth throughout 2013 and its stock price outperformed the market.

Amway for Collaboration Anytime, Anywhere!

In 2013, Amway’s Corporate IT division announced the company would be migrating to a new enterprise email system and implementing a complementary suite of real-time collaboration tools. Implementing these new tools strongly aligned with IT’s commitment to being a fast follower of emerging technology and providing agile technology solutions that contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the company. The challenge we faced was effectively communicating this change at both a strategic and personal level to more than 20,000 office and manufacturing employees around the globe while minimizing the impact on our business operations during the six-month migration process.
